VERY CLEVER CURLEWS!

Sunday 27 June 2010

The weather is glorious!  The sun has been shining  and we have been able to silage and haytime over the last few weeks.  When mowing  Malcolm is careful to look out for the Curlew nests in the long grass.  One clever family settled in the side of the field under the trees so kept their chicks extra safe!  Along with the Curlews the Oyster Catchers are in full voice whenever anyone comes near.

Hopefully the lovely weather will continue although secretly Malcolm would like a little rain (just at night - keeps us all happy)  to help his grass to continue to grow!
